Welcome to Community Pet Outreach, your veterinary clinic in The Colony, Texas. Our pet care facility provides all your pet wellness care services to keep your animal healthy and active for years to come. Under the guidance of our compassionate and experienced veterinarians Dr. Elizabeth McSween and Dr. My Tran, we strive to provide comprehensive, low cost companion animal care.
What makes Community Pet Outreach so special and sets us apart from all the other veterinary clinics in the area is that we are truly able to offer an affordable alternative to regular veterinary care. Over time, we have been able to transition from strictly low cost vaccines and low cost spay & neuter to more in- depth surgeries, pet dental care, microchipping, mobile vaccines and more. We now have an on site grooming facility and currently work with individual caregivers, as well as shelter and rescue groups in the area.
In addition to our adult pet wellness checkup services, our animal clinic in The Colony also provides puppy and kitten wellness care. Puppies and kittens have unique health needs, ranging from special nutrition to the puppy/kitten vaccination series. The puppy/kitten vaccination series is a series of vaccination booster shots that protect young animals against deadly diseases, including parvo and distemper. This shot series should begin shortly after a young animal is weaned and continue until the pet is at least 16 weeks of age. If you have recently adopted a new puppy or kitten and are not sure about your pet’s vaccination needs or history, our veterinarian is here to help. We are also happy to answer any questions that you may have about puppy/kitten nutrition, housebreaking, timely spay/neutering, and initial training.
Our animal hospital is a professional yet comfortable atmosphere. Dr. McSween and our veterinary care team are passionate about pet education and always happy to answer your questions and address any concerns. Your pet does not need to be a current patient in order to receive our services. While no appointment is required, if possible, please alert our animal clinic in The Colony to your impending arrival so our veterinary team will be ready to assist you.
At Community Pet Outreach, we treat your pets like part of our own family. Contact us today to schedule your pet’s appointment at 214-469-1300.
